This solution worked for me, press the camera with your fingers hard enough that you will not break the screen, close the camera app, restart or reset all settings. I open an iPhone once and camera is plugged with a notch so it could perfectly unplug or near to it.

There appears to be an issue with my camera on my phone which is driving me nuts. When I open up the camera app, all I see is a black screen. I can scroll between the video, photo, square etc options, but all I see on screen is black, and when I press the button to take a photo, nothing happens. The camera is also doing the same thing on Snapchat.
However the following day the camera and flashlight were not working again. I tried the process again and it worked again.Since this dud not seem like a permanent solution I decided to reset the phone as new.but the camera and flashligh dud not work.and now this temporary solution is not working anymore.
